However, it provides less precise data. These sensors are mainly used in older vehicles or those with simpler emissions control systems. While narrowband sensors may not be as efficient as wideband sensors, they still play a vital role in monitoring emissions and ensuring the vehicle runs smoothly.

DURABILITY:
Like any other vehicle component, lambda oxygen sensors have a limited lifespan. However, they are designed to last for thousands of miles, with some going up to 100,000 miles.
